The July Court lunch, Court Election and members' Common Hall took place at the beautiful Girdlers' Hall, on Wednesday 4th July 2017. Two new Liverymen were clothed bringing our numbers once again to 500. During the Court meeting Patrick Marsland-Roberts was made Master-Elect, Stephen Britt was made Senior Warden-Elect and Colonel Simon Bennett was made Junior Warden-Elect. Congratulations to all of them. After lunch the Master presented the twoTransport Design Award winner's citations and cheques for £250 to Sam Philpott and Kalle Keituri.
The Master then introduced the two candidates who were standing for election to the Court of Assistants who gave brief presentations as to why they were standing for Court. This was followed by a question and answer session before everyone retired to vote. The voting proved in favour of Liveryman Leon Daniels who will be installed as an Assistant on Wednesday 18 October 2017. Full pictures of this event can be found in the members area.
