The Carmen's 500th Anniversary Foundation Day Service was held on 22 March 2017 in the magnificent St Paul's Cathedral.
95 Masters, Prime Wardens, Upper Bailiff and their Clerks processed in from the Chapel of St Faith to be seated under the Great Dome followed by the Master, Wardens, Clerk and members of the Court of Carmen.
Alderman and Sheriff William Russell and Mrs Russell represented the Lord Mayor and were met at the North Transept by the Dean of St Paul's before being escorted to their seats under the Dome.
There were a further 120 Carmen and their guests and various other dignitaries and members of the public in the congregation.
Afterwards everyone adjourned to Stationers' Hall for Champagne Reception which saw the Master unveil a picture commissioned by Past Master Nick Meyer consisting of the Master, Wardens and Clerk.
